When Benedicto Saboya came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Alastuey NG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Saboya couldn't finish the play. Alastuey NG's Ladislao Mundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Alastuey NG from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Benedicto Saboya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Devoto FC's Eugenio Vergaray got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Maximiliano Aguilera fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Devoto FC's protests and gave Maximiliano Aguilera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, one of Devoto FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Devoto FC. Ladislao Eguntsenti had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Alfredo Regis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 19th minute, Alfredo Regis made a precise shot to the right of Ladislao Eguntsenti. Devoto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Alfredo Regis might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Eguntsenti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Regis ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 32 minutes, Anibal Amor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Devoto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Amor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anibal Amor kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Saboya was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Benedicto Saboya fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 52nd minute, Manuel Emenon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ateş Hacıağa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Benedicto Saboya fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ladislao Eguntsenti, passed just outside the right post. In the 63rd match minute, Devoto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Turi to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Anibal Amor made a precise shot to the right of Ladislao Mundo. Alastuey NG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Devoto FC's Ladislao Eguntsenti got control of the ball when Alfredo Regis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benedicto Saboya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Eguntsenti having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Devoto FC's zone, Benedicto Saboya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Eguntsenti came out of the goal and Benedicto Saboya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ladislao Eguntsenti was a little too slow when Benedicto Saboya got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-3. Ateş Hacıağa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Benedicto Saboya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Devoto FC's zone, Benedicto Saboya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Eguntsenti came out of the goal and Benedicto Saboya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
