Nemesio Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Milio having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Lafontaine's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Marcones came free, but Uriel Milio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 李崇坚 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Venancio Beliran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes in the game, 李崇坚 fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Venancio Beliran having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lafontaine's goalkeeper Uriel Milio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 李崇坚 to strike the kick off in the second half. Martin Calisto might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uriel Milio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Calisto ran back to his position shaking his head. 李崇坚 charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 李崇坚 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BruyJu booed when Lafontaine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. 李崇坚 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ola Nord hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Martin Calisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 李崇坚, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. BruyJu's Venancio Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ola Nord in the 81st minute of play. In the 81st minute, Nemesio Oriche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 91 minutes, Nemesio Oriche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BruyJu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Oriche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Caitano got free with Uriel Milio in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Lafontaine players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
