After having played for 6 minutes, Silvano Intxixu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azara AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Intxixu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Ubendu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dario Artizar came out and tried to block the shot, but Hugo Ubendu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute Azara AFC were awarded a corner. Tomás Tallia went to the cornerflag to take it. Andres Guerau tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Dario Artizar. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Adrian Intxixu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guardaparque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azara AFC the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Guardaparque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Intxixu to maneuver through the defense. Dario Artizar stood somewhat misplaced when Hugo Ubendu came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. With his leg Dario Artizar managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Azara AFC's Hugo Ubendu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hugo Ubendu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Dario Artizar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 36 played minutes Guardaparque got a freekick which was hit by Armando Munio. 37 minutes into the match, Azara AFC's Silvano Intxixu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Artizar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 38 minutes Guardaparque's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomás Tallia who took care of the corner kick. Benjamin Berdaitz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, Guardaparque's Dario Artizar got control of the ball when Silvano Intxixu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Ubendu was the one to do the kick off. If Silvano Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Artizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Ubendu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Hugo Ubendu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guardaparque's Dario Artizar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvano Intxixu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th match minute, Guardaparque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Jakue to maneuver through the defense. 6-0 became the score in the 65th minute when Silvano Intxixu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 69th minute Silvano Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Artizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Intxixu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A hard shot by Tomás Bastiaro from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Eloy Vergaray's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 83rd minute Felipe Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guardaparque's goalkeeper Dario Artizar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dario Artizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilio Castellano in the 89th minute of play. Siro Dabi's late challenge caught a Azara AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Dabi helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Guardaparque got a freekick which was hit by Siro Dabi. Silvano Intxixu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Dario Artizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azara AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
