The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Gonky S.A. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. The referee ignored Nilo AFC's protests and gave Cristian Demesio a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Wilfredo Macias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonky S.A.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Macias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Restu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th match minute, Nilo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Quilino to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Amilcar Pianetti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nilo AFC's Silverio Restu did a great save. Silverio Restu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Macias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Celedonio Frederik put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Silverio Restu. Celedonio Frederik scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Restu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximiliano Edorta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silverio Restu. Nilo AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gonky S.A.'s Wilfredo Macias got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 34 minutes, Wilfredo Macias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gonky S.A.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Macias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th match minute, Nilo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Llin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Celedonio Frederik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonky S.A.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Frederik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Demesio made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Wilfredo Macias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Demesio in the 54th minute of play forced Gonky S.A.'s goalkeeper Lucas Roano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonky S.A.'s Lucas Roano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Froila in the 56th minute of play. In the 64th minute Celedonio Frederik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Restu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Gonky S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Demesio came free, but Lucas Roano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Roano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Demesio, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Damian Koldo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Gonky S.A.'s Lucas Roano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Demesio in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Teo Aznar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gonky S.A. and the Nilo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute Cristian Demesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Roano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Olayo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silverio Restu having to make a save. A collision led to Nilo AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Pablo Otsoa hit a great ball. When the match was over Gonky S.A. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nilo AFC throughout the match.
