Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chicoana's Federico Ladio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Federico Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Romildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Oliviero hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Abelardo Fresco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Garci in the 8th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Timote's Jimeno Peruxu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Fresco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Timote's Jimeno Peruxu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Chicoana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Urko to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes, Sergio Gartzea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chicoana and the Timote players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Chicoana:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Timote:s goal. The referee gave Timote a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Esteve Pacho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chicoana's Abelardo Fresco. 2-0. After having played for 30 minutes, Rodolfo Garci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timote's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Garci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Garci received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abelardo Fresco came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodolfo Garci slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 32nd minute. Abelardo Fresco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Garci in the 35th minute. Andres Romildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Urko went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Chicoana getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sergio Gartzea hit a great ball. Esteve Pacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adan Frutos kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Garci to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Haroldo Oliviero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timote's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Oliviero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Fresco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Garci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Fresco. Chicoana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Garci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Chicoana's Federico Ladio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andres Romildo. That made the score 4-3 after 64 minutes of play. 72 minutes into the match, Timote's goalkeeper Andres Romildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Urko. In the 75th minute, Rodolfo Garci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Timote fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. 87 minutes into the match, Timote's goalkeeper Andres Romildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Urko. If Julio Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Garci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Timote players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
