Ruben Lleir started the match with the kick off. Sergio Gartzea kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chicoana's Jairo Udalaitz got a free kick in the 5th minute. Federico Ladio kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Chicoana getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. German Fonda hit a great ball. In the 17th match minute, Chicoana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Udalaitz to maneuver through the defense. Yacuchirí FC's Anacleto Xabat shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Abelardo Fresco but with some difficulty. Raul Pudes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Abelardo Fresco made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Julio Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chicoana's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Urko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Bibiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Federico Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Julio Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 35thth minute of the game Federico Ladio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yacuchirí FC's Camilo Bibiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Chicoana's Abelardo Fresco got control of the ball when Raul Pudes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Bibiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Ladio in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Federico Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Bibiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Urko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Chicoana booed when Yacuchirí FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 minutes, Julio Urko made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yacuchirí FC's Camilo Bibiano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Chicoana were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Ladio was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Yacuchirí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Ladio came free, but Camilo Bibiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Ladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Camilo Bibiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Julio Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Yacuchirí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Ladio came free, but Camilo Bibiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicoana's Abelardo Fresco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Lleir in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match Yacuchirí FC got a corner. Chicoana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alejo Pio ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Yacuchirí FC's corner Alejo Pio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abelardo Fresco quite easily take care of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Julio Urko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Bibiano. Yacuchirí FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Urko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Chicoana's Federico Ladio got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Federico Ladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Bibiano having to interfere. When Julio Urko came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Chicoana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Urko couldn't finish the play. Ruben Lleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Abelardo Fresco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rdth minute of the game Jairo Udalaitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yacuchirí FC's Camilo Bibiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camilo Bibiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Ladio's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the match was over Chicoana could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yacuchirí FC throughout the match.
