All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Dantae stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 70th minute, Elvio Mannuel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Pacorro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The audience was convinced that Fermin Vergaray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Americo Pacorro was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Canquel's Pedro Luís Palmeira threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Javiar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fermin Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 79 minutes of play, Manucho F.C.'s Elvio Mannuel made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
