With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Truylos in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Pacorro saved Canquel from getting behind. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Canquel! The referee gave Larrea a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Americo Chuan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canquel's Americo Pacorro. 1-0. Jose Egoitz's late challenge caught a Larrea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Egoitz helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Canquel got a freekick which was hit by Jose Egoitz.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Dantae to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Totakoxe in the 54th minute of play forced Canquel's goalkeeper Americo Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
