Anastasio Dabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Chucho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelino George showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 38 minute of play. athletic A's Fausto Chucho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save athletic A from getting a goal against them. Fausto Chucho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Matia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino George to make the kick off. When Maximiliano Rami fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored athletic A's protests and gave Maximiliano Rami a yellow card for diving instead. Maximiliano Rami hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Mariano Orkatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Chucho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galvan's Damian Otsoa got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lázaro Abastas hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Galvan's goalkeeper Anastasio Dabi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Janpier. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galvan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After a defensive mix-up in athletic A's zone, Angelino George stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Chucho came out of the goal and Angelino George tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Godfredo Matia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galvan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Anastasio Dabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Fausto Chucho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Bela in the 83rd minute of play. Alfonso Petri kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. athletic A's Fausto Chucho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Matia in the 90th minute of play. Alfonso Petri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anastasio Dabi came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfonso Petri slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galvan fans cheered their team off the field, for while athletic A had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
