Gogo Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Che in the 13th minute of play. Garin city's Domingo Etxekopar got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Garin city got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Patxi. When Carmelo Aguilera fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garin city's protests and gave Carmelo Aguilera a yellow card for diving instead. Carmelo Aguilera kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Damaso Santo charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damaso Santo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes Pucará got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Santo. Mateo Jokin scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gogo Lehior, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Pucará's Patricio Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Etxekopar in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Orzaize got free with Gogo Lehior in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Mateo Jokin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gogo Lehior was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 65 minutes into the match, Garin city's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Jokin came free, but Gogo Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Goyo Arizabalo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domingo Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Jokin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gogo Lehior came out and tried to block the shot, but Mateo Jokin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 71st minute. Domingo Etxekopar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Patricio Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Carmelo Aguilera made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Feo. Pucará's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Gogo Lehior made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualterio Mancio in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Mateo Jokin took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Gogo Lehior to make any attempt to save it. Domingo Etxekopar's late challenge caught a Pucará's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Etxekopar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pucará booed when Garin city was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Etxekopar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pucará's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
