Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin Ondino started the match with the kick off. Felix Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Cordeal in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Ondino in the 7th minute of play forced Sacanta's goalkeeper Osvaldo Mancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Arne Kvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliano Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliano Sazon in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Mancio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stig-Arne Kvist scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Matia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Matia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Arne Kvist in the 20th minute. Stig-Arne Kvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Matia having to interfere. If Fidel Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Mancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Ondino in the 46th minute of play. Benjamin Ondino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Osvaldo Mancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fidel Cordeal made a kick off. Felix Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Cordeal in the 52nd minute of play. Aldo Hurko charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Hurko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sacanta booed when Gregorio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Hurko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Fidel Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Cordeal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Fidel Cordeal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Gar in the 64th minute of play. Aureliano Sazon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 66th playminute. 70 minutes into the match, Sacanta's goalkeeper Osvaldo Mancio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Sazon. Aureliano Sazon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Osvaldo Mancio firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Gregorio FC defense, Aureliano Gar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Matia. The Gregorio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Matia should have stopped the shot. Aureliano Sazon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Mancio made a huge save. The supporters of Sacanta booed when Gregorio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Sazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gregorio FC's zone, Stig-Arne Kvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Matia came out of the goal and Stig-Arne Kvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
