Sebastian Jayvier got his second yellow card in the match during the 9th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, GALAPAGOS's Sebastian Jayvier got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in GALAPAGOS's zone, Baltasar Gomesano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Rafe came out of the goal and Baltasar Gomesano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. once tripas f.c.'s Fausto Fliz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save once tripas f.c. from getting a goal against them. In the 20th match minute, GALAPAGOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Iturri to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Argider's late challenge caught a once tripas f.c.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Argider helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, one of GALAPAGOS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GALAPAGOS. Roman Iturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hilario Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fausto Fliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hilario Gau made a kick off. GALAPAGOS's Hilario Gau got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Fliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Iturri in the 54th minute of the match. Fausto Fliz came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by GALAPAGOS's Roman Iturri. But to his dismay, Roman Iturri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hilario Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fausto Fliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Iturri took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Fliz. Fausto Fliz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to once tripas f.c. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Hipolito Abalos hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Roman Iturri sped through once tripas f.c.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fausto Fliz. In the 80th match minute, once tripas f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Abalos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Iturri in the 82nd minute of play forced once tripas f.c.'s goalkeeper Fausto Fliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, once tripas f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Abalos to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Fliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Hilario Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GALAPAGOS's goalkeeper Amado Rafe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Clodoveo Argoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Fliz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.
