Mariano Errapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Tello in the 5th minute of play. When Zarlanga's Gilberto Jerardo in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Speed Unitled FC's goalie prevented a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Gilberto Jerardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Errapel. Speed Unitled FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Jerardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 11 minutes of play, Zarlanga's Gilberto Jerardo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Errapel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilberto Jerardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mariano Errapel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Gilberto Jerardo made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Errapel. Speed Unitled FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 21st minute Nicasio Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Jerardo scored 0-4 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Errapel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute Gilberto Jerardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomir Modrzewski scored 0-7 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Errapel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Errapel came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Zarlanga's Gilberto Jerardo. But to his dismay, Gilberto Jerardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8.

The supporters of Zarlanga booed when Speed Unitled FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Olentzaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Jerardo took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Errapel. Mariano Errapel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Israel Tello hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Speed Unitled FC's Bernardo Atauri got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Gilberto Jerardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th match minute, Zarlanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Jerardo to maneuver through the defense. Zarlanga were furious when Israel Tello was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zarlanga! Mariano Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Isauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Radomir Modrzewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mariano Errapel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Speed Unitled FC's Mariano Errapel got control of the ball when Antônio Carlos Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Speed Unitled FC's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Modrzewski came free, but Mariano Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Diaz in the 86th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Speed Unitled FC's corner Nicasio Diaz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilfredo Garcia quite easily take care of the ball. Radomir Modrzewski struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Mariano Errapel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zarlanga. Zarlanga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
