Ramon Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Aquilino Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Romildo having to interfere. Matias Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A long shot from Ramon Arce in the 40th minute of play was well struck, but Mauricio Lauren made a really good save at the right post. When Isaias Orlan got free in front of the goal in the 43rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Primitivo Romildo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Aquilino Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Romildo having to interfere.

Serafino Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Nicanor Federigo got a free kick in the 61st minute. Matias Gomesano made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hilario Peter immediately put the ball in play. When Serafino Rodriguez came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Rodriguez couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Toldos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boca Juniors:s goal. If Bernardo Resto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Denis Frasquito hit a great ball. Primitivo Romildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Columbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaias Orlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Primitivo Romildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Toldos players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
