Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mansilla FC's Niceto Eyague started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Lertxun during the 2nd minute. Clodoveo Pereyra charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clodoveo Pereyra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Coraceros got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Pereyra. Niceto Eyague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Montes having to interfere. Clodoveo Pereyra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Braulio Bazil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 24thth minute of the game Godofredo Xacintu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coraceros's Jorge Montes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mansilla FC's zone, Elias Tab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Bazil came out of the goal and Elias Tab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Godofredo Xacintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Tab scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Braulio Bazil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Mansilla FC booed when Coraceros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Victorino Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coraceros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Tohias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Lapurdi was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Coraceros's Jorge Montes got control of the ball when Diego Pepillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Coraceros's goalkeeper Jorge Montes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Xacintu. Braulio Bazil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Lapurdi in the 61st minute of play. Braulio Bazil came out of the goal and Donato Lapurdi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coraceros's Jorge Montes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Coraceros from getting a goal against them. After 66 minutes of play Coraceros's Clodoveo Pereyra was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 66th minute, Clodoveo Pereyra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Bazil having to interfere. Braulio Bazil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Tab, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With his leg Jorge Montes managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Mansilla FC's Godofredo Xacintu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Coraceros's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
