Mauro Hats stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Guillelmo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Filiberto Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Anchorena FC's Nicanor Kauldi managed to work through Federico FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Nicanor Kauldi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in Federico FC's zone, Paulino Guillelmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Hats came out of the goal and Paulino Guillelmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nicanor Kauldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Anchorena FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 52 played minutes Paulino Guillelmo rounded Federico FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Filiberto Dominguez hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Basualdo in the 59th minute of play forced Anchorena FC's goalkeeper Agustin Chano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Guillelmo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Hats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicanor Kauldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Hats came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulino Guillelmo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 67th minute. When Nestor Basualdo came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Federico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Basualdo couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Anchorena FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
