Spectators: 6982 (Terracing: 5344, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 0) Federico FC's Nestor Basualdo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elias Tab blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Hats having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Donato Lapurdi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Hats was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Lapurdi in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Hats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes of play, Coraceros's Elias Tab made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Hats was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Coraceros booed when Federico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Pio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Donato Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Hats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coraceros's Victorino Tohias got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Federico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Tab came free, but Mauro Hats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes Federico FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emilio Ourente who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Donato Lapurdi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mauro Hats quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Lapurdi to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Federico FC's Mauro Hats got control of the ball when Elias Tab tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Elias Tab came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Coraceros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Tab couldn't finish the play. Donato Lapurdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Hats having to interfere. Coraceros's Donato Lapurdi got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Federico FC's goalkeeper Mauro Hats, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Federico FC's Mauro Hats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Lapurdi in the 63rd minute of play. Nestor Basualdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jorge Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Federico FC booed when Coraceros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Pereyra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Pio, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jorge Montes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Tohias during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Coraceros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Tohias to maneuver through the defense. Donato Lapurdi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Coraceros's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Basualdo came free, but Jorge Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Lapurdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 minutes of play Coraceros's Victorino Tohias was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Federico FC booed when Coraceros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Tohias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Frichoso hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Coraceros players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
