Nestor Basualdo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Xacintu in the 15th minute of play forced Federico FC's goalkeeper Mauro Hats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Hats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Xacintu in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Federico FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Primitivo Urbes hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Federico FC defense, Niceto Eyague kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Hats. The Federico FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Hats should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Mansilla FC booed when Federico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Ekaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Hats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Xacintu in the 22nd minute of the match. Niceto Eyague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Hats having to interfere. Mauro Hats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Eyague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Godofredo Xacintu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Hats was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Godofredo Xacintu struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Mauro Hats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mansilla FC. After a rather tough play, Federico FC's Filiberto Dominguez got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Mauro Hats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Xacintu in the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Federico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Beti came free, but Mauro Hats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Basualdo made a kick off. If Niceto Eyague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godofredo Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Godofredo Xacintu came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mansilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Xacintu couldn't finish the play. In the 61stth minute of the game Niceto Eyague who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Federico FC's Mauro Hats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th play minute Godofredo Xacintu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mauro Hats. 0-5. The Federico FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mansilla FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
