Spectators: 7066 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 19) Ovidio Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Errolan in the 4th minute of play. Ovidio Honesto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damian Nazario showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 18th minute, Claudio Gaizko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Retiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Xepe Pujol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Jakue in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Amadeo Argi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Honesto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 28 minutes into the game, Claudio Gaizko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Xepe Pujol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Lagunilla AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Eusebio Txilar hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Esteve Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot. Retiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Jakue was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xepe Pujol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xepe Pujol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Gaizko went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Retiro FC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Feliciano Errolan kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Claudio Gaizko fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Retiro FC's protests and gave Claudio Gaizko a yellow card for diving instead. Orlando Vachon lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Retiro FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lagunilla AFC:s goal. Ovidio Honesto went to the wrong direction when Amadeo Argi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Esteve Jakue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st match minute, Retiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Bernat to maneuver through the defense. If Primitivo Etxahun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Honesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Guzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lagunilla AFC's Damian Nazario got a free kick in the 80th minute. Ovidio Honesto came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lagunilla AFC's Feliciano Errolan. But to his dismay, Feliciano Errolan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The supporters of Lagunilla AFC booed when Retiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Jakue didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Amadeo Argi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ovidio Honesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Txilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Retiro FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
