Anselmo Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Elazar in the 12th minute of the match. Teodoro Elazar took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Leguizamón. Anselmo Leguizamón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, Everardo Mundo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celso Blanco. The goal made the score 1-1. Quilmes PxQ's Everardo Mundo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Leonel Columbo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Quilmes PxQ's Anselmo Leguizamón. Anselmo Leguizamón was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the game, Teodoro Elazar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amenábar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilmes PxQ the free kick. In the 29th minute, Teodoro Elazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Ubendu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute Samuel Ubendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Columbo in the 34th minute of play forced Quilmes PxQ's goalkeeper Anselmo Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Elazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Samuel Ubendu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilmes PxQ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Ubendu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Mundo made a kick off. When Clodoveo Eneto fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amenábar's protests and gave Clodoveo Eneto a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Amenábar got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Eneto. After 58 minutes of play Amenábar's Clodoveo Eneto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Clodoveo Eneto hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Quilmes PxQ's Everardo Mundo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel Columbo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anselmo Leguizamón having to make a save. Everardo Mundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Blanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everardo Mundo ran back to his position shaking his head. Everardo Mundo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Celso Blanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilmes PxQ. Amenábar were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Quilmes PxQ's much stronger midfield.
