When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Lauro made a kick off. If Haroldo Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Angelo Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. de locos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Ricart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rikotero FC's Marco Claris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Lauro in the 62nd minute of play. If Armando Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rikotero FC booed when de locos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Quin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in de locos's zone, Ruben Tab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Lluc came out of the goal and Ruben Tab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Haroldo Lauro fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored de locos's protests and gave Haroldo Lauro a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes de locos got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Lauro. When Eustaquio Itzaina came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Rikotero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Itzaina couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. de locos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
