When Nicasio Isusko fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored de locos's protests and gave Nicasio Isusko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Nicasio Isusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Lluc was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eleuterio Paul. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albano Iban during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albano Iban kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Dionisio Urritz hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Monserrat FC's Ruben Elodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Ricart in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Monserrat FC's Romeo Mercurio got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Ricart in the 14th minute of play forced Monserrat FC's goalkeeper Ruben Elodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes of play, de locos's Haroldo Lauro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Elodio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruben Elodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Ricart, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute, Gaudencio Tristan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monserrat FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Teofilo Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gaudencio Tristan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute of the match Dionisio Urritz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Lluc showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Lastur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Nicasio Isusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57thth minute of the game Teofilo Lastur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but de locos's Cristian Lluc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute, Tiburcio Maurino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Lluc was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Ricart got free with Ruben Elodio in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Lluc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Lastur in the 67th minute of play. Albano Iban was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 70th match minute, de locos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Iban to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to de locos getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Haroldo Lauro hit a great ball. Gaudencio Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Lluc having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Teofilo Lastur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but de locos's Cristian Lluc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Teofilo Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cristian Lluc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, de locos's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Tristan came free, but Cristian Lluc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monserrat FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
