Tellier's Pablo Ondino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Tristan in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Tellier booed when 20 de junio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Domeka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Lorencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Jusepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Enzo Mero charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enzo Mero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes 20 de junio got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Mero. Tellier's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Jusepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Lorencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Tellier's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Baldomero Santos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 32nd minute, Baldomero Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ovidio Lorencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Cordareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guaberto Jusepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ovidio Lorencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Guaberto Jusepe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tellier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Jusepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 46 minutes, Gogo Aztore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 20 de junio and the Tellier players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baldomero Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Ondino having to interfere.
