In the 12thth minute of the game Leandro Mendiko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobos AFC's Angel Flor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Roberto Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Club Atletico Boca Junior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Garcia to maneuver through the defense. When Angelino Orland came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Lobos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Orland couldn't finish the play. After 25 played minutes Lobos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Txeru. Severino Hanot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jeronimo Ostots came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Lobos AFC fans jumped to their feet. Victor Egoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Leandro Mendiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Angel Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leandro Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Mendiko in the 42nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Ostots got free with Victor Egoitz in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Leandro Mendiko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Lobos AFC's Angelino Orland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Egoitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angel Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Mendiko in the 56th minute of play. After 58 minutes Lobos AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leon Izel who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Arnaldo Cilio advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-1 in the 58th minute. Prospero Txeru hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match, Leandro Mendiko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Angel Flor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Jeronimo Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico Boca Junior's Victor Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Ostots in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Ostots in the 76th minute of play forced Club Atletico Boca Junior's goalkeeper Victor Egoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Egoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Orland, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Prospero Txeru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Egoitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute Severino Hanot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Egoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Lobos AFC's corner Severino Hanot fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victor Egoitz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Leandro Mendiko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Boca Junior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Lobos AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Club Atletico Boca Junior to leave the ground with a draw.
