The referee showed Ahmet Arif Şevki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute of the match Rolando Rosalio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodosio Constancio skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Mauro Isusko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cieneguillas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Isusko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Marko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute Santos Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Constancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cieneguillas FC's Ahmet Arif Şevki got a free kick in the 24th minute. Baltasar Marko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Isusko in the 26th minute. Baltasar Marko came out of the goal and Ciriaco Raebert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Isusko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Baltasar Marko made a huge save. Baltasar Marko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Raebert in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Neni FC's goalkeeper Baltasar Marko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Isusko. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Neni FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cieneguillas FC:s goal. Ciriaco Raebert shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 44th minute, Cieneguillas FC's Mauro Isusko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Neni FC's Baltasar Marko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Neni FC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Paulo Ezkerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Neni FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leandro Ayala was slow to take the kick. During this time Cieneguillas FC's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Ahmet Arif Şevki to score against Baltasar Marko in Neni FC's goal. 2-0 after 54 minutes. Baltasar Marko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Raebert in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute Ciriaco Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Marko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cieneguillas FC's Ahmet Arif Şevki got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ahmet Arif Şevki was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Neni FC booed when Cieneguillas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Arif Şevki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Ayala hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Neni FC's Rolando Rosalio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Teodosio Constancio but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Mauro Isusko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Marko was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Cieneguillas FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
