In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Horthen Rothen F.C.'s goalkeeper Cornelio Jurdan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Anastasio Banegas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Jurdan. Horthen Rothen F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anastasio Banegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Gorila's Eulalio Osasun in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cornelio Jurdan came out of the goal and Eulalio Osasun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gorila's Anastasio Banegas got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carolo Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Jurdan having to interfere. Horthen Rothen F.C.'s Cornelio Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Banegas in the 35th minute of play. Cornelio Jurdan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Arano in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Nicanor Asteri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Jurdan. Horthen Rothen F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Asteri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Eulalio Osasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eulalio Osasun was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Gorila got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Banegas. Eulalio Osasun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Cornelio Jurdan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Timoteo Mincho kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Timoteo Mincho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horthen Rothen F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gorila the free kick. In the 67th minute, Timoteo Mincho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eulalio Osasun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicanor Asteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Gorila's Eulalio Osasun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornelio Jurdan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Carolo Darien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Osasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Cornelio Jurdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolo Darien struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cornelio Jurdan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gorila. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Osasun got free with Cornelio Jurdan in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Gorila's Eulalio Osasun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Eulalio Osasun got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 96th minute, Eulalio Osasun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Jurdan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Gorila played a much better game than Horthen Rothen F.C. and deserved their victory. The Horthen Rothen F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
