Rodolfo Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Mantzio in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to gallego FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Adan Gaxan hit a great ball. Yahya Özçevik didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 6th minute. Chacarita JRS's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The supporters of Chacarita JRS booed when gallego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Sansone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafino Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Lartaun in the 13th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Jesus Mantzio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but gallego FC's Rodolfo Vargas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Julian Mannie fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored gallego FC's protests and gave Julian Mannie a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute Anacleto Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Gabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anacleto Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafino Gabino came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by gallego FC's Basilio Barbosa. But to his dismay, Basilio Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Isaias Cresitobalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rodolfo Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, gallego FC's Anacleto Lartaun made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Gabino was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahya Özçevik in the 57th minute of play forced gallego FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chacarita JRS's Albano Viviano was substituted for Marcelinho Baiano. In the 64th minute, Basilio Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. gallego FC's Rodolfo Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Mantzio in the 65th minute of play. Chacarita JRS's Ermegildo Quinton was substituted for Eustaquio Vincente. Basilio Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. In the 95th minute, Anacleto Lartaun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Everardo Francis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anacleto Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
