When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ambrosio Aires to strike the kick off in the second half. Enrique Mosen scored 5-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Chayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Enrique Mosen came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Irigoyen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Mosen couldn't finish the play. Anier Chayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ceibalito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Chayo should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ceibalito's zone, Enrique Mosen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Chayo came out of the goal and Enrique Mosen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Irigoyen FC had played much better football throughout.
