Spectators: 7027 (Terracing: 5325, Seating: 1632, VIP seats: 70) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gonzalo Cordairo kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Bortzaioriz in the 4th minute of play forced Estudiantes de la plata's goalkeeper Celso Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Cordairo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Abelardo Mikolas fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guerrico's protests and gave Abelardo Mikolas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guerrico's Abelardo Mikolas got a free kick in the 6th minute. Remigio Avellaneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Gerazan, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Celso Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Mikolas in the 12th minute of play. Romeo Macario lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Estudiantes de la plata fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Estudiantes de la plata's Celso Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Cordairo in the 27th minute of play. Lucas Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Avellaneda having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Leonel Filipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de la plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Filipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Avellaneda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leonel Filipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonel Filipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Guerrico booed when Estudiantes de la plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Beliran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Federico Calvino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celso Arias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, one of Estudiantes de la plata:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Estudiantes de la plata. The referee gave Guerrico a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Federico Calvino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Estudiantes de la plata's Celso Arias. 1-2.

In the 55th minute, Guerrico's Abelardo Mikolas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Lucas Checa hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match it was 2-4 when Federico Calvino shot a long shot which zipped by Estudiantes de la plata's goalkeeper at the right pole. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Guerrico's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Checa came free, but Remigio Avellaneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Millano during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Guerrico booed when Estudiantes de la plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of Guerrico echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Estudiantes de la plata had held the ball for most of the match.
