Norberto Gerazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Oliveiro having to interfere. With his leg Agustin Oliveiro managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Estudiantes de la plata's Norberto Gerazan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Filipo in the 8th minute of play forced Mazones AFC's goalkeeper Agustin Oliveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A collision led to Mazones AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ricardo Paz hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Lucas Checa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Oliveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Gerazan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustin Oliveiro having to make a save. After recieving a nice pass, Estudiantes de la plata's Norberto Gerazan tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mazones AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Leonel Filipo scored to the left of an out of position Agustin Oliveiro, making the score, 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Leonel Filipo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Agustin Oliveiro, 2-0. Norberto Gerazan struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Agustin Oliveiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de la plata. Lucas Checa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustin Oliveiro having to make a save. In the 47th minute, Roberto Kusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Estudiantes de la plata's Celso Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Stanislao in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Rolando Filipo could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Celso Arias however easily saved by the left post. Norberto Gerazan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustin Oliveiro having to make a save. In the 67th minute Norberto Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Oliveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match Estudiantes de la plata got a corner. Mazones AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Norberto Gerazan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Estudiantes de la plata's Pablo Eufemio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Leonel Filipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Stanislao in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Norberto Gerazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de la plata's Lucas Checa got a free kick in the 78th minute. Rolando Filipo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Norberto Gerazan struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Agustin Oliveiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de la plata. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Lucas Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de la plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Checa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Oliveiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th play minute Rolando Filipo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Celso Arias. 5-2. Estudiantes de la plata walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
