Herbert Damaski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Rosendo Solustiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cayastacito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kebrachitos the free kick. Cayastacito FC's Nestor Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Eyague in the 16th minute of play. Joaquin Eyague's late challenge caught a Cayastacito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Eyague helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Kebrachitos got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Eyague. Kebrachitos's Lucas Marcones got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonardo Lando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herbert Damaski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Virila, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Herbert Damaski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Lando in the 40th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Kebrachitos got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Donzel. 45 minutes into the match, Kebrachitos's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Virila came free, but Herbert Damaski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Eyague blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Cesaro having to make a save. After the first half Cayastacito FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Kebrachitos booed when Cayastacito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Porfirio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Kebrachitos got a corner. Cayastacito FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Çağan Yenay ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ionică Butuc was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Virila got free with Herbert Damaski in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cayastacito FC's Nestor Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Marcones in the 69th minute of play. Leonel Virila might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herbert Damaski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonel Virila ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Marcones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nestor Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arsenio Donzel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. A collision led to Kebrachitos getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Arsenio Donzel hit a great ball. The supporters of Kebrachitos booed when Cayastacito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Solustiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th match minute, Cayastacito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. The Kebrachitos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cayastacito FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cayastacito FC.
