FC Barcelona's Silvestre Belasko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Aldo Markel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capo Cañonieri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Zacarias Garoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Itzaina's late challenge caught a FC Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Itzaina helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Capo Cañonieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Itzaina to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Zacarias Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Garoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Gotzon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fabio Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Guerrero made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Guerrero came free, but Silvestre Belasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Dacio. Fabio Ipar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benigno Mattin struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Honorato Gotzon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. 79 minutes into the match, Fabio Ipar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Honorato Gotzon, 1-2. Simon Edur charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Edur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Capo Cañonieri getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Simon Edur hit a great ball. Zacarias Garoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Honorato Gotzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zacarias Garoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fabio Ipar came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Ipar couldn't finish the play. Salvador Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Belasko having to interfere.
