Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adrian Terciero started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Braulio Azubeli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnulfo Abreu. The goal made the score 1-0. Adrian Chabier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Marcelo Cordairo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Arnulfo Abreu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18thth minute of the game Marcelo Cordairo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riachuelo FC's Arnulfo Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Terciero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Atauri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Eleuterio Banegas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Atauri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Gaudencio Atauri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Banegas in the 23rd minute of the match. Adrian Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gaudencio Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes, Atlético Obrero's Pedro Alonso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnulfo Abreu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Obrero reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Riachuelo FC's zone, Adrian Chabier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Abreu came out of the goal and Adrian Chabier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Riachuelo FC's Rene Lauro collided with an opponent after 33 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his leg. When Silvestre Lleir fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Obrero's protests and gave Silvestre Lleir a yellow card for diving instead. Adrian Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Abreu having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Riachuelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Quintun to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Marcelo Cordairo in the 41st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Cordairo to make the kick off. If Adrian Chabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Cordairo in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Abreu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnulfo Abreu came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Obrero's Adrian Chabier. But to his dismay, Adrian Chabier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Adrian Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Cordairo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Obrero's zone, Eleuterio Banegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Atauri came out of the goal and Eleuterio Banegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Chabier charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Chabier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Marcelo Cordairo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Eleuterio Banegas could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Gaudencio Atauri however easily saved by the left post. Eleuterio Banegas might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaudencio Atauri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eleuterio Banegas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute Gaudencio Quintun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Cordairo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Arnulfo Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnulfo Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Chabier in the 85th minute of play. Adrian Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Abreu having to interfere. If Gaudencio Quintun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Bortzaioriz lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Riachuelo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atlético Obrero:s goal. The referee gave Atlético Obrero a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adrian Chabier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Riachuelo FC's Arnulfo Abreu. 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Obrero players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
