Adrian Terciero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Eleuterio Banegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Terciero kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Silvestre Belasko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Banegas in the 7th minute. Silvestre Belasko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eleuterio Banegas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Eleuterio Banegas struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Silvestre Belasko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riachuelo FC. Silvestre Belasko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Quintun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Fabio Ipar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Adrian Terciero fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Silvestre Belasko, passed just outside the right post. Eleuterio Banegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Riachuelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Pancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes, FC Barcelona's Serafino Dacio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnulfo Abreu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavino Nataniel to make the kick off. When the referee ended the match the Riachuelo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
