Higinio Mederi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Adolfo Aznar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, FC Congodia's Edgardo Efren got a free kick in the 14th minute. Denis Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Denis Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes Independiente Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Mel. After having played for 24 minutes, Edgardo Efren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Congodia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Efren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidro Estebano in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Errando saved Independiente Rivadavia from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Congodia's Isidro Estebano got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Edgardo Efren scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Errando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Independiente Rivadavia's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Estebano came free, but Andres Errando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Independiente Rivadavia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isidro Estebano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Efren in the 86th minute of play forced Independiente Rivadavia's goalkeeper Andres Errando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
