In the 28th minute of the match Antonio Senio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Quin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Merlo's zone, Eugenio Demario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Quin came out of the goal and Eugenio Demario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Eugenio Demario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelino Errapel struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Miguel Quin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ladinos. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgilio Incendio to make the kick off. When Damaso Nesor came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Merlo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Nesor couldn't finish the play. Atilano Calixto hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Eugenio Demario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Miguel Quin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Angelino Errapel came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Ladinos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Errapel couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Ladinos's Eugenio Demario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Quin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Merlo getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eustacio Basualdo hit a great ball. Merlo's Aaron Ignatius got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The supporters of Ladinos booed when Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Natal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ricardo Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Demario in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Quin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Quin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Demario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Demario in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Quin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ricardo Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Ladinos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
