Facundo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 8th minute, Amancio Iratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hilario Jaunzuria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Iratze in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Facundo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Marcos Estavan hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Amadeo Lauaxeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Nafarroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Haritz in the 20th minute of play forced Facundo's goalkeeper Hilario Jaunzuria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Quinito kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Facundo's Lorenzo Manni couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mataderos FC. If Amadeo Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Facundo's Hilario Jaunzuria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Haritz in the 31st minute of play. Hilario Jaunzuria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Iratze in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Amancio Iratze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hilario Jaunzuria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Manni hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Urbano Haritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Mataderos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Amadeo Lauaxeta made the kick off in the second half. Erubiel Olando struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Eleuterio Nafarroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Facundo. In the 58th minute Urbano Haritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbano Haritz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Haritz in the 68th minute of play forced Facundo's goalkeeper Hilario Jaunzuria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Facundo's Saturnino Hodei got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 95 minutes, Fulgencio Pacho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mataderos FC and the Facundo players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match was over Mataderos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Facundo throughout the match.
