Ulises Cordaro started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Cordaro in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Tiniebra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 5 minutes, Abelardo Garin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Lorenzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Garin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Abelardo Garin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Semeno hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Eugenio Tiniebra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Cordaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Lorenzo were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Jony´s Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodrigo Ihintza took the corner. After taking down the ball on San Lorenzo's corner Rodrigo Ihintza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eugenio Tiniebra quite easily take care of the ball. When San Lorenzo's Abelardo Garin in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jony´s Team's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Jony´s Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Victoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ulises Cordaro came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the San Lorenzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Cordaro couldn't finish the play. When San Lorenzo's Abelardo Garin in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jony´s Team's goalie prevented a goal. Eugenio Tiniebra came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo's Ulises Cordaro. But to his dismay, Ulises Cordaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Ariel Ixaka got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Jony´s Team's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Garin came free, but Eugenio Tiniebra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute Ulises Cordaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Tiniebra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Jony´s Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Lorenzo were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urbano Victoro was the one to do the kick off. Abelardo Garin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eugenio Tiniebra firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 55th minute, Ulises Cordaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ulises Cordaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Tiniebra was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Cordaro in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Jony´s Team's Eugenio Tiniebra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Cordaro in the 64th minute of play. Eugenio Tiniebra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulises Cordaro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 66 minute of play. Ulises Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Eugenio Tiniebra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Tiniebra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Cordaro in the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Jony´s Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Victoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Jony´s Team's goalkeeper Eugenio Tiniebra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Cordaro. Eugenio Tiniebra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Garin in the 84th minute. Ariel Ixaka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. San Lorenzo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
