In the 6th match minute, Moquehuá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Ireno to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Ovara's Julio Ayala got control of the ball when Jonas Ekialde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Remigio Eriz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Ayala, 1-0. In the 36th minute, Moquehuá FC's Isidro Garaile dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 41 minutes, Agustin Bide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moquehuá FC and the Ovara players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Hugo Gumaro made the kick off in the second half. Julio Ayala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Ekialde's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Julio Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Gumaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Gumaro in the 66th minute of play forced Ovara's goalkeeper Julio Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Gumaro struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Julio Ayala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moquehuá FC. In the 92nd minute, Jonas Ekialde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Ayala was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When the referee ended the match the Moquehuá FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
