The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Locaio got free with Maximino Tanio in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Tinogasta's zone, Gervasio Rosalio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Tanio came out of the goal and Gervasio Rosalio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tinogasta's Maximino Tanio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Rosalio in the 20th minute of play. Arnaldo Locaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gervasio Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tinogasta's Maximino Tanio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Tinogasta from getting a goal against them. Maximino Tanio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Rosalio in the 28th minute of play. Arnaldo Locaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Maximino Tanio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guatimozín's Arnaldo Locaio got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Gavino Cordairo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tinogasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Cordairo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Herauso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 41 minutes, Arnaldo Locaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guatimozín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Locaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Guatimozín's Gervasio Rosalio, in the 43rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Guatimozín. Maximino Tanio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Rosalio, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavino Cordairo was the one to do the kick off. Gervasio Rosalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gavino Cordairo during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tinogasta's Gavino Cordairo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Maximino Tanio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Rosalio in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Arnaldo Locaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guatimozín's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Locaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guatimozín were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
