In the 14th minute, Bartolo Hustaz made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Orlin. Independiente brujo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Julian Diaz fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones F.C's protests and gave Julian Diaz a yellow card for diving instead. Julian Diaz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Evelio Garoa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliciano Matai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bartolo Hustaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Orlin having to interfere. Ovidio Orlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Urtats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Faro took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliciano Matai. Feliciano Matai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Bartolo Hustaz in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ovidio Orlin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Marciano Bermudo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente brujo's protests and gave Marciano Bermudo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Independiente brujo getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Marciano Bermudo hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes Independiente brujo got a freekick which was hit by Severo Faro. The throw-in from Aaron Gonsalve in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Leones F.C's Evelio Llorenc. Evelio Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ovidio Orlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leones F.C's Bartolo Hustaz got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Leones F.C booed when Independiente brujo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Medero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Llorenc missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 47 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ovidio Orlin right hand side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Bartolo Hustaz made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Leones F.C's goalkeeper Feliciano Matai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Enekoitz. Bartolo Hustaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Orlin having to interfere. When Edelmiro Gaueko fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones F.C's protests and gave Edelmiro Gaueko a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Independiente brujo booed when Leones F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Gaueko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Garoa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ovidio Orlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Urtats, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Bartolo Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Independiente brujo defense, Marcelo Urtats kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Orlin. The Independiente brujo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Orlin should have stopped the shot. If Bartolo Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Gagriel kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Bartolo Hustaz struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Hustaz in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Orlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Independiente brujo's Severo Faro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Feliciano Matai. That made the score 2-2 after 92 minutes of play. Feliciano Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Faro in the 96th minute of the match. Leones F.C were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
