Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Omar Feo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Fulgencio Kaxen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Rios in the 7th minute. Ceferino Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Kaxen having to interfere. The supporters of Tambería booed when Instituto ACC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Millrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Ceferino Rios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tambería's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Instituto ACC the free kick. In the 14th minute, Ceferino Rios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes Instituto ACC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Millrick. Fulgencio Kaxen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Leheren in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Amancio Leheren made a precise shot to the right of Fulgencio Kaxen. Instituto ACC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Feo in the 22nd minute of play forced Tambería's goalkeeper Eugenio Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Tambería was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Urtun to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Omar Feo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Instituto ACC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Fulgencio Kaxen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ceferino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Fulgencio Kaxen made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Instituto ACC's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Leheren came free, but Fulgencio Kaxen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Leheren to make the kick off. Fulgencio Kaxen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Fulgencio Kaxen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Leheren went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Jago in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulgencio Kaxen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fulgencio Kaxen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 74 minutes, Aquiles Abancens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Instituto ACC and the Tambería players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Instituto ACC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Aquiles Abancens hit a great ball. If Amancio Leheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Instituto ACC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Kaxen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amancio Leheren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Kaxen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Anselmo Urtun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fulgencio Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ceferino Rios came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Tambería fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Rios couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute David Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Kaxen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tambería's Guido Reyes got a free kick in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Tambería's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Feo came free, but Eugenio Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Tambería were the better team. Tambería's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
