Cipriano Iruinea started the match with the kick off. If Arnoldo Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Oliveros FC's goalkeeper Cristo Gomez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Giro. After having played for 17 minutes, Arnoldo Giro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Añatuya AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Giro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Cipriano Iruinea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristo Gomez, 1-0. When Tadeo Elequemedo came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Oliveros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Elequemedo couldn't finish the play. Filiberto Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Bernardino Jokin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filiberto Gomez was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Tadeo Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Elequemedo in the 35th minute of play forced Añatuya AFC's goalkeeper Filiberto Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Oliveros FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alejandro Venceslas hit a great ball. Cipriano Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Giro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cristo Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Elequemedo made a kick off. With a little luck, Añatuya AFC's Filiberto Gomez got control of the ball when Bernardino Jokin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Giro in the 55th minute of play forced Oliveros FC's goalkeeper Cristo Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Oliveros FC's zone, Cipriano Iruinea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Gomez came out of the goal and Cipriano Iruinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Domenec during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amado Domenec hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Oliveros FC's Eustaquio Berart seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eustaquio Berart the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Oliveros FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eustaquio Berart had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Oliveros FC! Filiberto Gomez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardino Jokin in the 71st minute. Filiberto Gomez came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Oliveros FC's Bernardino Jokin. But to his dismay, Bernardino Jokin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Aquiles Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Gomez having to interfere. Cipriano Iruinea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cristo Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Iruinea struck a weak shot in the 101st minute. Cristo Gomez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Añatuya AFC.
