Angelo Shepherd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Leon Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Leon Indar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caucete FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Indar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Shepherd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Blas Onbera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon Indar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leon Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leon Indar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Shepherd having to interfere. Remigio Javiero's late challenge caught a Cerrito AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Javiero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cerrito AFC booed when Caucete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Javiero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Leon Indar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caucete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Indar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Caucete FC booed when Cerrito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Onbera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Indar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Shepherd having to interfere. Santiago Barrionuevo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Caucete FC's Domingo Cordario tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Santiago Barrionuevo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon Indar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Angelo Shepherd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Barrionuevo to strike the kick off in the second half. Remigio Javiero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Shepherd having to interfere. Angelo Shepherd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Indar in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Caucete FC's Carlos Nahia got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Leon Indar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Shepherd was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Remigio Javiero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Angelo Shepherd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Indar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Shepherd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Leon Indar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Angelo Shepherd skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leon Indar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Shepherd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Leon Indar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Angelo Shepherd, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Cerrito AFC's zone, Felipe Servando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Shepherd came out of the goal and Felipe Servando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caucete FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
