The Samico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Catuna AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Israel Felipo hit a great ball. Samico's Eliseo Rexino got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Distiratsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Rexino in the 11th minute of the match. Israel Felipo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes of play, Samico's Ildefonso Tebaldo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Distiratsu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eduardo Chaime struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Angelo Distiratsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samico. Eliseo Rexino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Distiratsu having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Eduardo Chaime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Israel Felipo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catuna AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samico the free kick. In the 30th minute, Israel Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Rexino in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Distiratsu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eduardo Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Eliseo Rexino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Distiratsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Rexino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samico's Eliseo Rexino got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Israel Felipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ariel Su struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. In the 59th minute, Catuna AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eliseo Rexino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Eliseo Rexino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samico's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Rexino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Distiratsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the match, Catuna AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Rexino came free, but Angelo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Chaime could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Angelo Distiratsu made a huge save. Eliseo Rexino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Angelo Distiratsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Catuna AFC's zone, Eliseo Rexino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Distiratsu came out of the goal and Eliseo Rexino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Distiratsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Su in the 92nd minute.
