Joaquin Mergildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Criston in the 23rd minute of the match. Zapata FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Modesto Criston 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Cajon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Modesto Criston made a kick off. Valentin Jenaro's late challenge caught a Zapata FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 89th minute, one of Zapata FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zapata FC. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Cajon FC. Damian Heli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquin Mergildo. 6-1. Efrain Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Gonzalez in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Sixto Raphael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cajon FC fully deserved thier win.
