The audience was convinced that Adan Sustrai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Tuste was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Remigio Harri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Lorenzo Aznar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 10 minutes into the game, Evelio Chago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Talleres Cordobes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sancho Furbo Clú the free kick. In the 10th minute, Evelio Chago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmacio Lordi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Freddy Quico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Talleres Cordobes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Quico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sancho Furbo Clú getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eloy Iraido hit a great ball. Faustino Sesuldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-0 became the score in the 19th minute when Remigio Harri elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Roque Tuste came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Talleres Cordobes's Faustino Sesuldo. But to his dismay, Faustino Sesuldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Silvano Eguzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Roque Tuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Faustino Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Talleres Cordobes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Sesuldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Oinaz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Faustino Sesuldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Arturo Serafo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sancho Furbo Clú's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Serafo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Aznar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Arturo Serafo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Serafo was the one to do the kick off. Adan Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Club Talleres Cordobes booed when Sancho Furbo Clú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Iraido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Sancho Furbo Clú's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Sustrai came free, but Roque Tuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Club Talleres Cordobes's Adan Sustrai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 68thth minute of the game Remigio Harri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Talleres Cordobes's Lorenzo Aznar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sancho Furbo Clú's Arturo Serafo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Arturo Serafo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Club Talleres Cordobes got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Eguzki. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sancho Furbo Clú's goalkeeper Roque Tuste, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sancho Furbo Clú's zone, Adan Sustrai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Tuste came out of the goal and Adan Sustrai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sancho Furbo Clú's Roque Tuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Sustrai in the 80th minute of play. Roque Tuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Sustrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Club Talleres Cordobes's Adan Sustrai in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sancho Furbo Clú's goalie prevented a goal. A well placed Adan Sustrai short distance shot in the 93rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Club Talleres Cordobes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
