Daniel Gaitan came out of the goal and Jonatan Claude tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute Teo Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Oliverios made a kick off. When Teo Oliverios came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Travesía FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Oliverios couldn't finish the play. If Teo Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Oliverios, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Daniel Gaitan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teo Oliverios showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 78 minute of play.
