Lino Galo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everardo Erlantz was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Flavio Goi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boquerón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Goi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Galo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lino Galo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Goi in the 58th minute of the match. Lino Galo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Goi went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Boquerón FC were the better team. Boquerón FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
