The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joaquin Chabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. After 16 played minutes Triki Trake FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Dalmai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Chabier in the 19th minute of play forced Libertad AFC's goalkeeper Eloy Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Franco having to interfere. Cosme Esdras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Joaquin Chabier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Franco was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Libertad AFC's zone, Cosme Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Franco came out of the goal and Cosme Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Cosme Esdras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eloy Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Esdras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Esdras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Libertad AFC's Eloy Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Esdras in the 39th minute of play. Cosme Esdras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Libertad AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Triki Trake FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cayetano Iraitz to make the kick off. Joaquin Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Franco made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Cosme Esdras sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Eloy Franco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 60 played minutes, Triki Trake FC's Ariel Txartiko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eloy Franco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Triki Trake FC reached it. Benicio Odol kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Triki Trake FC's Ariel Txartiko broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Joaquin Chabier came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Triki Trake FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Chabier couldn't finish the play. Cosme Esdras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Franco having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Joaquin Chabier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cosme Esdras's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Eloy Franco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 81 minutes into the match, Libertad AFC's goalkeeper Eloy Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Esdras. Eloy Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Chabier in the 82nd minute of the match. Cosme Esdras might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Franco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosme Esdras ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Libertad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Chabier came free, but Eloy Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Libertad AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cayetano Iraitz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Cosme Esdras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Triki Trake FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Esdras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Franco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Triki Trake FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
